The Evergreen ship that blocked the Suez Canal eventually reaches Britain

The Evergreen ship, which blocked the Suez Canal in Egypt and caused the world's largest shipwreck, has recently reached its destination, Britain. The ship, four months ahead of schedule, is anchored in Felixstowe , Britain's largest shipping port.

It is said that a large number of people had come near the port to witness the event. The Evergreen sank off the Suez Canal on March 23th route from Malaysia to Britain. It is said that a wind that blew across the canal caused it. The rescue operation took place over a period of six days.

During that time, hundreds of ships crossing the canal were stranded. The ship remained in the custody of Egyptian authorities for another three months after it was rescued, following investigations into the incident and compensation from the Japanese company that owned the ship. Accordingly, it was released in July after a three-month detention period.
