The 18 Olympic athletes whose corona were positive and their dreams faded in Japan

After years of anticipation, the Tokyo Olympics have been postponed due to the global epidemic. But the mood of the athletes about the Olympics is not calm. Many athletes and other participants in Tokyo have been positive for the virus. Eleven competing athletes have been reported infected so far, and seven more have been quarantined due to exposure. 6) Neil Powell - July 19:

Powell, the South African sevens rugby coach, tested positive for COVID after his arrival in Japan.

7) Kara Ecker - July 19:

The U.S. Olympic Committee has confirmed that Kara Ecker, an alternate athlete on the U.S. gymnastics team, has contracted COVID.

8) Coco Gauff - July 18:

Goff, a 17-year-old U.S. tennis player, withdrew from the Olympics due to being positive. Gauff was named the youngest tennis player at the Olympics in more than 20 years.

9-15) Six British athletics teams - July 18: Six members of the Great Britain Olympic team are reported to have been isolated from exposure to COVID while flying to Tokyo.

16-17) Bradley Beal - July 15:

Two members of the U.S. basketball team, Beale and Jeremy Grant, are both positioned in the Health and Safety Protocols. Beal has turned down competition for the Olympics, and Grant is still hopeful he will be able to travel to Tokyo.

18) Alex de Minaur - July 10:

World No. 17 tennis player and Australia's top Alex de Minaur has withdrawn from the Olympics after becoming positive.
