Samples of the moon brought from China's Change-5 spacecraft begin scientific tests
Scientific tests on soil samples from China's Change-5
spacecraft, which was successfully launched into orbit last year, officially
began yesterday, Chinese media said.
The tests are being carried out at a research institute in
Beijing. The Chang e-5 spacecraft successfully returned to Earth on December 17
last year, carrying a total of about 1,731 grams collected from the moon.
This is the first mission to orbit the moon in 40 years.
Accordingly, China has now been able to collect the most fresh rock samples
from the moon. Part of this lunar lounge was on display from June 27 to July 9
in Hoko. A team of six people, including top Chinese aerospace engineers,
arrived in Hong Kong carrying the samples, which were stored in a high-security
cell. It is also stated that a large number of people came to view these
samples.
