Washington
shaken by Biden's victory: Trump banned from Twitter
Protesters in Washington have been on high alert following
the release of the results of the Georgia state election, which will determine
the rule of the US Senate.
One woman was killed during the protests, according to media
reports. The Democratic Party has won the Georgia state election,
which is controlled by the US Senate. Accordingly, Democratic nominee Raphael Warnock secured his
victory by defeating Republican Kelly Loeffler.
Joe Biden's Democrats have been able to secure full power in
the U.S. Senate. Meanwhile, Trump’s groups in the US capital, Washington, have
begun protests, according to media reports.
Violent Trump supporters have taken to the streets and rioted
in the media. Despite tightening security at the Capitol Hill building,
protesters tried to enter the building in a violent manner.
The media reported that the situation had reached an
uncontrollable level despite the efforts of the security forces. Even the speaker's chair in the chamber was reportedly taken
over by the protesters.
Despite the defeat of Donald Trump in the last US
presidential election, this violent act shows that the Republicans do not
accept it. Although a number of parties, including Trump, have accused
Democrat Joe Biden of fraudulently obtaining victory, no such allegations have
been substantiated.
Joe Biden, President-elect of the United States, will be
sworn in as the 46th Executive President on January 20.
Washington's Twitter network has also been blocked and Donald
Trump's Twitter account has been blocked for 12 hours.
