Will Putin leaving the presidency because of Parkinson ?

The story of Putin leaving the presidency because of Parkinson

The Kremlin has denied reports circulating on the Internet that Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to resign due to ill health. Putin's media secretary, Dmitry Peskov, has said the president is "in good health" and "will not resign." The story came after a report was made by The Sun, a British tabloid newspaper. Recent videos of 68-year-old Putin suggest that he may have symptoms of Parkinson's disease, based on these reports.

Putin recently prepared to amend a number of rules governing the prosecution of former presidents. This raising suspicions of a resignation. This suggests that Putin may be preparing to retire. Russian lawmakers have introduced two laws in parliament this week that provide for special provisions for former presidents.

The First Amendment allows a former president to hold a seat for life as a senator on the Russian Federation Council. The second is to abolish the prosecution of former presidents. It applies to any offense committed during his lifetime. Today, former presidents are protected for actions taken only when they are in President’s Seat.

Russia has passed a constitutional amendment to "reinstate" Putin, allowing him to run twice for the presidency and remain in office until 2036, when he turns 84.
