How Gastritis Develops And How To Get Rid Of Gastritis ?

Gastritis is an inflammatory condition of the stomach (Inflammation). There, changes in the mucous membrane of the stomach that are invisible to the naked eye, such as microscopic changes or subtle reddening seen (Erythema) on endoscopic examination, can be observed as scratches (Erosions) or deep wounds (Ulcers).

Causes

1. Infection of the esophagus and stomach caused by Helicobacter pylori (H.Pylori). This can be caused by unclean food and drinking water.

2. Alcohol consumption - a harmful condition caused by a direct effect on the mucous membranes.

3. Smoking - Gastritis can be caused by damage to the mucous membranes directly and also by the reduction of blood flowing to the wall due to blockage of blood vessels.

4. Injuries caused by drugs - especially painkillers, non-steroidal drugs, steroids, mainly affect this.

5. Excessive chili, turmeric, and various preservatives, pigments and flavorings used in preservatives can also be harmful to the mucous membranes.

6. Stress - Excess secretion of hydrochloric acid through the synovial nerve (Vagus) that connects the brain and stomach, as well as a decrease in blood circulation to the wall, can lead to gastritis.

7. Gastric or peptic ulcer: It is the most common type of gastric ulcer (Zollinger Ellison Syndrome ).

Symptoms

1. Inflammation of the upper middle part of the abdomen (epigastrium) or pain such as tightness or pain like hunger pangs.

2. Filling the stomach - especially after eating (Distension)

3. Gas in the throat (Eructation)

4. Sore throat with food particles or bitter sour taste (Regurgitation).

5. Anorexia.

6. Nausea and vomiting.

7. Vomiting of blood (Hematemesis).
